On May 27th, students from the Bernardette Romeira International School's Robotics Club participated in the National Tournament of the FIRST Lego League, collecting yet another trophy. This year, the team was awarded the 2nd prize in the Mechanical Design category. The event was held at the premises of Instituto Superior Técnico at TagusPark, in Lisbon, and was attended by more than a dozen teams from various parts of the country, including a team from the Azores.
It was a very intense day where the students presented the work developed during the academic year of 2016/2017. This year's theme was “Animal Allies”, and focused on the interaction between humans and animals.
