Last Saturday, May 27^th, the 19^th National Championship for Children, Beginners and Juvenile Karate took place at the Pavilhão Municipal Luís de Carvalho, in Barreiro. Natacha Fernandes, a student at Colégio Bernardette Romeira and an athlete at the Clube de Karaté de Olhão, managed to qualify for this competition by becoming the Algarve Regional Champion in Youth Kata.

After 7 years of participating in this important national competition, Natacha Fernandes reached the 1^st place on the podium, thus becoming the National Champion in Juvenile Kata.

The College is proud of, once again, a CBR student achieving such a merit award.
