On Children's Day, June 1^st, Colégio Bernardette Romeira received the great news that the 1^st and 3^rd year classes (English language) were awarded the 2^nd place of the 8^th “Tell us a Story!” Contest.

Colégio Bernardette Romeira participated with five projects in each of the categories in the competition, involving pre-school and 1^st to 4^th grade students, with the technical support of ETIC Algarve (School of Technologies, Innovation and Creation of the Algarve), a partner institution of the school in the area of ??audiovisuals.

This year, 421 stories from all over the country participated, in audio and video modalities, which were evaluated by a jury made up of members of the Directorate-General for Education (DGE), the Office of the School Library Network (RBE), the National Reading (PNL), the Portuguese Association of Teachers of English (APPI) and Microsoft, and chaired by Professor Ana Amélia Carvalho, from the University of Coimbra.
