After the ALOHA Mental Arithmetics Regional Championship, in which our students Maria Leonor Lucas and Tomás Morgado obtained 2^nd place in the Tiny 3 category and 3^rd place in the Kids 1 category, respectively, on May 25^th, 2019, the V National Championship of ALOHA-Mental Arithmetics took place and our student Vasco Lúcio obtained a meritorious 3^rd place in the Tiny 3 category.

ALOHA Mental-Arithmetics is a mental development program for children between 5 and 13 years old.

This educational program develops children's intelligence, and is based on three key tools: abacus calculation, mental arithmetic and educational games.

Students develop skills such as attention and concentration, photographic memory, spatial orientation, control of non-verbal aspects of communication, intuition and, consequently, also improve their ability to solve problems more effectively.

All participants are to be congratulated for their performance and for the enthusiasm they have always shown for this activity.
