On the 14th of May, the finals of the Municipal Reading Contest took place at the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão. The students who represented Colégio Bernardette Romeira did not win, but had an excellent participation in all levels of the competition.
The jury, made up of Dr. Anabela Batista (Olhão's School Libraries Coordinator), teacher Elisabete Duarte, responsible for the Olhão's Library, and Algarve journalist and writer Neto Gomes, had a difficult task, since the performance of all students was meritorious.
We congratulate the students of Colégio Bernardette Romeira and all the other participants, since our main objective in this contest is to stimulate the taste and habits of reading in a joyous way.
