As part of the public exercise for seismic risk awareness The Earth Shakes, organized by the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority, the CBR sounded its emergency alarms at 11:09 am on 9 November.
When the sirens sounded, students, teachers and staff of the school adopted their security positions under the tables, with their hands covering the back of their necks, and waited for the end of the "earthquake".
The exercise is based on the three essential protection gestures in the event of an earthquake: CROUCH, PROTECT AND WAIT. It aims to raise awareness of the seismic risk and the importance of simple behaviors that citizens should adopt in the event of an earthquake, but which can save lives.
