During the 1st Term, Early Years and Middle School - 1º Ciclo students visit the CBR Laboratory to conduct experiments with Lab Teacher Ms. Sandra Matias. This way, they can learn various scientific concepts in a practical way, and become acclimatized to the Laboratory environment, which they will attend from the Middle School - 2º Ciclo and forward. Discovering the Senses

Class 2-B visited the Lab to discover the senses through a practical activity. Our little scientists used various vegetables and fruits to identify the different senses.

Color Changing Flowers

Early Years 2 and 3 performed an experiment in which a flower, with the stem dipped in water with dye, changed color: the inner workings of plants, exemplified in a practical and visual way.

Does Air Take Up Space?

Class 2-B carried out an experiment in which they discovered, through the chemical reaction between vinegar and sodium bicarbonate, if air takes up space.
