On October 20, CBR was filled with pink as part of the Pink October festivities, an initiative of the Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro (Portuguese League Against Cancer) to raise awareness to breast cancer and its prevention.

On this day, students from Nursery to Year 9 changed their uniforms for a pink t-shirt and participated in the National Fundraiser. In addition to their individual donations, Year 9 also organized a stall selling snacks and toys, which earnings reverted to the Fundraiser.

In the CBRGym, Step classes per cycle took place during the day, in which everyone could participate. Students also helped to build a pink balloon ribbon at the school’s entrance.
